The concept of the Canada Pavilion is "Regeneration", inspired by the thawing of frozen rivers as spring arrives.
The exterior of the pavilion represents the natural phenomenon of "river ice formation" seen in Canada, characterized by the fleeting beauty of melting ice as it flows downstream.
In contrast to its ice-covered exterior, the interior of the pavilion embodies Canada’s warmth, openness, and forward-thinking spirit. Visitors can experience Canada's innovation, diversity, creativity, and commitment to a sustainable society.
The Canada Pavilion is located near the Japan Pavilion, next to the Grand Roof (Ring).
Laurie Peters, Canada's Government Representative for the pavilion, stated,
"We want visitors to feel the warmth, generosity, and optimism of the Canadian people inside the pavilion."
At the entrance, a 3D "CANADA" sign will serve as a popular photo spot for visitors.
